Axle Robot Kit

Axle Robot Kit

Axle is the first robot developed by TRUE Robotics for students in grades 6, 7 and 8. The Axle Robot Kit is comprised of 250+ pieces and can be programmed using the Trubots Playground Software. The robot can be remotely controlled using a game controller or autonomously move from pre-programmed instructions. The robot is powered by a rechargeable battery pack and has a built in camera, ultrasonic sensor, and light sensor to detect its surroundings. Axle is included in our middle school robotics package. Read below for more information.

Pilot Robot Kit

Tailored for 4th and 5th graders, Pilot is a reusable robot kit consisting of more than 150 pieces. It serves as an engaging tool in the ‘Taking Off with Pilot’ classroom package, teaching students about Math and Science concepts in a unique, hands-on manner. Like Axle, Pilot can be pre-programmed using the Trubots Playground Software or remotely controlled with a game controller. Pilot comes with a rechargeable battery, a built-in camera, a touchscreen, and an ultrasonic sensor. Designed for groups of 2-3 students, Pilot also includes all necessary tools and parts in the box: a screwdriver, wrench, wires, extra nuts and screws, a battery, and a battery charger.

Axle Robot Kit

The pioneer in TRUE Robotics’ line-up, Axle is a sophisticated robot kit designed specifically for students in grades 6 to 8. Comprising over 250 components, Axle offers an immersive, hands-on experience that introduces students to the fundamentals of programming. With the Trubots Playground Software, students can program Axle to operate autonomously or be remotely controlled using a game controller. Equipped with a rechargeable battery pack, a built-in camera, an ultrasonic sensor, and a light sensor, Axle is adept at navigating its environment. This kit is a key component of the ‘Introduction to Robotics’ classroom package. Designed for groups of 2-3 students, Axle comes with all necessary tools and parts, including a screwdriver, wrench, wires, extra nuts and screws, a battery, and a battery charger.

A Look Inside Axle

Trubots Playground Software

Our software offers a seamless, web-based platform that eliminates the need for student logins. It’s designed to be universally compatible, running smoothly on Windows, Mac, or Chromebook computers. Our programming environment utilizes a block-based system, providing an intuitive and engaging way for students to grasp fundamental programming concepts such as creating basic functions, utilizing variables, and implementing loops. We invite you to explore our interactive playground. Our robot kits, which can be programmed via the playground using either Bluetooth or USB, offer a hands-on experience that brings these concepts to life.
