Exciting Curriculum Updates from True Robotics: Enhancing the Learning Experience

Over the past several months, we have been hard at work making numerous updates to our curriculum that we know you are going to love   We revamped both of our Introduction to Robotics With Axle and Taking Off With Pilot curriculums to better meet the diverse needs of students everywhere. To best engage with our students, we have added various enhancements to our already comprehensive STEM curriculum.

Addition of a “General Curriculum”

We are thrilled to introduce a new “General Curriculum” not tied to a single grade level. This flexible curriculum is designed to provide foundational robotics knowledge and skills that can be adapted to various learning contexts and student needs.  The Taking Off With Pilot General Curriculum was designed to work best with students ages 8 to 14, whereas the Introduction to Robotics With Axle General Curriculum is suited for students ages 10 to 16. This adjustment makes both curriculums perfect for a mixed-age class, after-school club, or summer program.

Differentiation and Scaffolding Between Grade Levels

We recognize that the learning needs of students vary based on their age group.  To better cater to students’ needs, we’ve added more differentiating and scaffolding in our curriculum. Each grade level receives tailored instruction building upon their prior knowledge and skills, promoting continuous growth and improvement. As students continue their learning journey with Pilot and Axle, they will encounter new, exciting challenges year after year.  This means you can confidently implement our curriculum from grades 4 to 8, allowing your students to build upon what they learned with our robots in previous years.

More Robot Challenges

Students love our robot challenges, so we’ve added even more to our curriculum.  These exciting, new challenges provide students with additional opportunities to be hands-on and apply their knowledge and skills creatively and practically.  Each challenge is designed to foster creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

New and Improved Presentations

We have revamped our presentations to be more engaging and informative, incorporating the latest advancements in robotics and educational technology. These updates aim to make complex concepts more accessible and enjoyable for all learners. With improved visuals and interactive elements, students will find it easier to grasp difficult topics and stay motivated throughout their robotics education.

We believe these updates will significantly enhance the educational experience for our students and help them achieve greater success in their robotics journey. We look forward to seeing the positive impact these changes will bring!  As your students engage with our updated curriculum, we encourage you to share your robotics journey with us. Let's continue to inspire and empower the next generation of robotics enthusiasts!
